Program Participation Waivers
If you are a participant in good standing in one of the listed programs, you are eligible for a Program Participation Waiver.
You are also eligible for this waiver if you already graduated and were a participant in good standing at the time of graduation.
To apply for this waiver, you must complete the Program Participation Verification Form and have it signed by the appropriate program director verifying your status.
How to Request a Program Participation Waiver
The deadline for Stanford to receive your fee waiver request is 10 business days (two weeks) before your intended graduate program’s application deadline.
- Start your graduate application and complete the following pages. Save but do not submit your application.
- Personal Background
- Program Selection
- Open the Fee Waiver Request Form.
- Select the Program Participation Waiver option. You will see a dropdown menu to select your program, then upload your signed Program Participation Verification Form. The remaining questions on the form are optional.
- Submit the Fee Waiver Request Form.
You are notified via email when your request is approved or denied. If your request is approved, the fee waiver is automatically applied to your account and you are not prompted to pay the application fee to submit your graduate application.
