Why GRAD Day?
The purpose of GRAD Day is two-fold. First, you will have the opportunity to tour Stanford’s various community centers and meet faculty and graduate students who can give you an insider’s perspective on graduate student life and Stanford’s commitment to diversity broadly defined. Second, you will have the opportunity to tour the campus and graduate residences and explore the surrounding campus community. You will also meet other students who are considering graduate study at Stanford. Because each department makes its own admissions decisions, some departments will complete the process ahead of others. Therefore, the students attending the event may be a mix of admitted students and those who may not have received an admission decision.
